hipages Group Annual Report 2025
Letter from the Chair
FY25: A year of strategic evolution and growth
Dear shareholder,
I am pleased to report that FY25 was
a transformational year for hipages
Group, as we continued our strong and
profitable growth trajectory alongside
our evolution from marketplace
to SaaS-enabled platform.
Strategic evolution in
Australia and New Zealand
During FY25, we successfully
completed the migration of 33k
Australian tradie customers onto
our new single tradie platform (STP),
tradiecore, and migrated over 80%
of our customers to the new pricing
plans, with the remaining customers
to migrate by the end of October.
We are seeing encouraging signs
of retention and engagement from
the early cohorts of tradies who
are actively using tradiecore for
job management, reinforcing our
confidence in our platform strategy.
In New Zealand, we successfully
transitioned the business to a
full subscription model, driving
both revenue and ARPU growth,
replicating our success in Australia
over the last few years.
FY25 guidance achieved
It was pleasing to see the business
achieve its FY25 guidance for revenue
growth, EBITDA margin and free cash
flow. The Group continued its track
record of delivering double-digit revenue
growth, while operating leverage and
disciplined cost management delivered
a record EBITDA margin. We also saw
a step change in free cash flow which
increased by 162% to $5.6 million.
Importantly, every incremental
dollar of revenue generated in FY25
over the prior year delivered 47
cents of free cash, highlighting the
significant cash generation potential
of our efficient operating model while
investing for long-term growth.
Investing for growth
The Board remains committed to
disciplined capital management,
ensuring the Group is well positioned to
fund its growth ambitions while delivering
long-term value for shareholders.
Our balance sheet is robust and has been
further strengthened by strong free cash
generation this year, closing with $26.9
million in cash and no debt. This provides
a solid foundation to continue investing
in our strategic evolution, including
exploration of inorganic opportunities.
Building a resilient business
At hipages Group, we see artificial
intelligence as a cornerstone of resilience
and future growth. We are actively
engaging with conversational language
models and developing our own
AI‑powered agents within the platform
– reimagining how homeowners discover
and complete projects,
and how tradies run their businesses.
For homeowners, this means simpler
discovery and smarter ways to plan,
connect, and manage projects. For
tradies, it means AI-driven tools that
support quoting, scheduling, customer
management and business optimisation.
Our approach spans generative,
predictive and agentic AI applications.
These are being applied not only to
enrich customer experiences but also to
help our people work more productively,
automate workflows, and unlock deeper
insights. AI is increasingly embedded
across our product and operations,
positioning hipages to deliver greater
value to both homeowners and tradies.
Cyber resilience remains equally vital.
We continue to invest in advanced
security and privacy technologies
– including automated incident response
and data detection platforms – while
fostering a culture of security awareness
across the organisation to protect
customer trust as digital threats evolve.
FY26: A strong year ahead
Looking ahead to FY26, we are focused
on deepening engagement across our
platform as we continue to enhance
tradiecore functionality, while expanding
our homeowner platform to deliver more
intuitive and tailored experiences.
AI integration across our product and
operations will further strengthen our
offering and unlock new efficiencies.
With strong business momentum,
a clear strategic roadmap and robust
balance sheet, hipages Group is
well positioned to deliver continued
growth and value for shareholders.
On behalf of the Board, I would like to
thank the hipages Group team for their
dedication and execution throughout the
year. I also acknowledge Roby Sharon-
Zipser, our CEO and Co-Founder, for
his continued leadership and vision.
Thank you to our shareholders for
your ongoing support. I look forward
to speaking with you at our Annual
General Meeting in November.
Yours sincerely,
Inese Kingsmill
Non-Executive Chair

hipages Group Annual Report 2025
CEO’s Report
FY25 was an important year of delivery for hipages Group,
as we achieved our financial objectives while completing the
most significant strategic evolution in our history.
We successfully migrated our Australian
customers onto hipages tradiecore,
our new single tradie platform (STP),
as well as transitioned to a full
subscription model in New Zealand.
Our efficient business model and strong
operating leverage delivered a step
change in free cash flow generation.
Strong FY25 performance
Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
grew 14% to $7.4 million, and total
revenue grew by 10% to $83.1 million,
in line with our guidance.
This growth was driven by new pricing
plans in Australia, strong ARPU uplift,
enhancements to our matching engine,
and the successful implementation of
our subscription model in New Zealand.
Marketplace activity remained
robust at record levels with tradie-
homeowner connections stable at a
record 2.8 million. Job connection rates
remained high at 85%, reflecting an
exceptional experience for homeowners.
We continued to strengthen our brand
awareness through ongoing strategic
marketing partnerships, including our
association with The Block delivering
a successful campaign with a total
reach of 13.6 million viewers.
Brand awareness among homeowners
and tradies now stands at 68%
reinforcing hipages as the leading
platform to connect to tradies to
simplify home improvement.
Australian tradie subscriptions grew
to 33,300, which was below our
expectations but delivered against the
backdrop of a significant customer
migration to our STP. By year end,
81% of tradies were migrated to new
pricing plans, with ARPU (Annual
Revenue Per User) up 8% to $2,381,
benefiting from subscription price
increases that reflect the enhanced
value received by our tradie customers.
In New Zealand, we completed the
transition to a full subscription model,
delivering 23% revenue growth and
ARPU of $1,190. This shift enhances
value for tradies and supports higher
retention and yield. We expect to
see ongoing benefits from our full
subscription model with a strong
ARPU exit run rate of $1,536 reflecting
further upside potential in FY26.
Operating expenses continued to
decline as a percentage of revenue,
as operating leverage and disciplined
cost management delivered a 20%
increase in EBITDA to $19.6 million, with
our EBITDA margin expanding by two
percentage points to a record 24%.
Free cash flow increased materially
to $5.6 million, reflecting the strength
of our operating model and our
ability to convert growth into cash.
Significant market
opportunity
Our strategy is simple and our priorities
are clear: grow our tradie network while
maintaining marketplace balance and
capitalise on significant opportunities in
pricing and value while progressing our
evolution to a platform-based business.
Industry adoption of job management
technology remains in its early stages,
and with only 19% penetration of our
serviceable addressable market, we
see substantial opportunity to grow.
Most tradies still use unsophisticated
tools to run their businesses, with
58% using generic software like
Microsoft Word and 28% using pen
and paper to manage jobs. This is
even more pronounced among sole
traders, who make up two-thirds of
our total addressable market, as only
8% of sole traders use specialised
job management software.
We see this as a huge opportunity as we
believe that the market is on the cusp of a
major shift towards increased technology
adoption, fuelled by growing competition
between tradies and their requirements
for productivity improvement.

hipages Group Annual Report 2025
Focus on driving
engagement and tradie
count growth in FY26
In FY26, we are focused on driving
increased engagement on tradiecore
to unlock the next phase of growth,
with new features and functionality
to drive enhanced retention and
growth in subscription tradies.
We are planning the release of powerful
new features including enhancing
lead pricing mechanics, matching,
and self-serve capabilities, designed
to make it easier and faster for tradies
and homeowners to connect.
We also see opportunities to
broaden our platform with a suite
of adjacent services to further
enhance engagement and provide
additional revenue streams through
the launch of the hipages toolbox.
Our subscription model gives us great
visibility over future revenues and our
operating model is highly efficient and
scalable, which should continue to deliver
enhanced operating leverage, margin
expansion, and free cash flow generation.
With the heavy lifting of the STP
platform and package migration and
New Zealand subscription model
implementation behind us, we enter
FY26 with strong momentum. We
are targeting revenue growth of
10‑12%, EBITDA margin of 24‑26%
and free cash flow of $8-10 million.
I am very proud of what we have
achieved this year and excited about the
opportunities ahead. Thank you to the
hipages Group team for their dedication,
hard work and passion, and to our Board
for their guidance during this year of
significant technology transformation.
Most importantly, thank you to our
shareholders for your continued
support as we build a strong and
profitable business fit for the future.

Marketplace Performance
Connection1
volume remains at record levels as we continue
growing the connection value. More connections result in
tradies consuming their subscription credit faster, triggering
upgrades to higher price tier subscription packages.
Homeowners are getting exceptional service as the job
connection rate2
remains at record levels of 85% reflecting
exceptional marketplace experience. The high connection rate
is supported by continued improvements to our job/tradie
matching engine.
1 Connections occur when a tradie claims a job, triggering usage of their lead credits included in their subscription.
2 Connection rate defined as # jobs with at least 1 tradie-homeowner connection as a % of total # jobs posted on hipages Australia.
Our ARPU growth reflects the enhanced value proposition
for tradies (refer to Figure 1). Key drivers fueling ARPU
growth include:
• New tradie businesses joining the STP at higher yields
• Migration of existing tradies to new plans
(completing October 2025)
• Continued optimisation of job lead prices, coupled
with AI driven matching engine driving increased
credit usage, ascensions and lead pack purchases

Over FY25, almost 50,000 paying tradies used hipages at

there is considerable opportunity to increase the number of
paying tradies as we continue to enhance the overall tradie
experience and engagement through value-added services and
an improved platform designed to make hipages an essential
partner for tradies.
Brand Authority
We have achieved strong reach and brand awareness
while maintaining our marketing spend as a % of revenue.
Highlights include:
• Continuation of our strong partnership with Nine in
sponsoring The Block with more value and stronger
integration versus previous years and reach of 13.6 million3
• Multichannel, always-on campaigns aimed at tradies
across radio, streaming platforms, TV and YouTube
• Complementary SEM/SEO investment maintained in

Homeowners
We continue to enjoy strong brand growth amongst
homeowners. Total awareness reached a record high of 68%
amongst homeowners in the age bracket 30-65 yo while
consideration grew 2% year-over-year to 42%.
Homeowners continue to enjoy a great experience with hipages.
Of those who try our service, 78% go on to prefer it over
alternatives – the highest conversion rate in the category and
a +2 ppt improvement year-on-year. This strong preference has
supported the brand and helped insulate us against increased
competitor spend during FY25.
Tradies
The brand remains strong among tradies despite an increasingly
competitive landscape. hipages continues to lead the category
with 33% Spontaneous Awareness, and strong Total Awareness
at 68%. Recent research and analysis from Publicis Sapient
showed that hipages provides the best return on investment
when compared to other digital lead generation platforms5

Group Strategy
The Australian trades industry is valued at more than $141 billion;
with hipages strategically focused on tradies in the residential
homeowner segment, estimated at $112 billion, underscoring our
strong alignment with a substantial share of the industry.
Market Overview
In an Australian market of more than 300,000 tradie businesses,
we view our Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) as
circa 175,000 tradies and our share almost 20% – with over
33,300 subscription tradies in Australia at the end of June.
On a rolling 12 months basis though, nearly 50,000 tradies have
paid to use hipages, demonstrating the broad appeal of our
platform and a significant opportunity to further penetrate the
market. Our ambition is to continue to expand our services and
features, creating stronger tradie engagement and retention.
The hipages ‘Toolbox’
We are on the verge of launching the ‘toolbox’: an in-app
services marketplace where tradies will be able to access
trusted third-party service providers all in one place.
Over time, these services will include insurance, financing,
materials and business tools, or basically anything that
tradies need to run their businesses effectively.
This will extend our value proposition beyond lead generation
and job management and make us the go-to resource
for tradies, further driving engagement and retention.
